OLA Tennis Success Continues
OLA march on, to beat the top team and take the lead in the Aegon League. The match this week against Oxford High was always going to be the hardest match for OLA. On paper the teams could not be separated and on the day this rung true.
The matches went on into the early evening, with each point being fought for. It was fair then, after the singles and doubles matches, for the game to go to a Championship Tie Break between two nominated players from each team. The OLA team played their hearts out and managed to win the Tie Break comfortably and go through as winners.
With matches still to go at Headington and Tudor Hall it is still all to play for for OLA, but the team must be happy with a brilliant win over a very good team from Oxford High.
Well done Maria, Jess, Taysie and Olivia.
