Uniform
Years 7 – 11
- Kilt – kilts should be knee length or below.
- Skirt – this is optional for Years 10 and 11 only
- Navy blazer – for outdoor wear and formal school occasions.
- School badge – presented to girls when they join the school and to be worn on lapel of jacket.
- Navy outdoor jacket – other jackets are not permitted.
- White blouse – long sleeved for Michaelmas and Hilary Terms and short sleeved for Trinity Term.
- Blue jumper
- School scarf – this is optional, but non-uniform scarves are not allowed.
- Regulation opaque navy tights or navy ankle socks*
- Shoes* – black or navy leather with low heels. For safety reasons, soles should be firm (no “ballet”-type shoes). The external height of the heel at mid back must not exceed 4 cm. Fashion shoes, boots and sandals with open toes or heels are not allowed.

ALL ITEMS OF CLOTHING MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED WITH THE OWNER’S NAME Name tapes may be ordered from the school shop.
Watches, calculators, etc. should also be clearly marked.
All uniform items (except those marked with an asterisk) must be purchased from Our Lady’s Abingdon School shop. The shop opens approximately fortnightly during term and times of opening are published on the Events List.
The only jewellery allowed with school uniform is a small cross or other religious symbol on a simple chain and one pair of studs (not rings) in the ear lobes. Hair clips and slides must be plain and hair accessories, if worn, plain white, navy or blue.
The Headmistress’ decision on all matters relating to a girl’s appearance is final.
