Uniform

Sixth Form

  • Black skirt or trousers – Smart, suit-style skirt or tailored trousers, suitable for office/work wear. Denim is not appropriate.
  • White or pastel blouse – With collar and short or long sleeves. Fitted blouses may be worn outside skirts, other blouses should be tucked into skirts. No bare midriffs, please. T-shirts are not suitable and if a girl chooses to wear one underneath her blouse, it should not be visible.
  • Sweater – Regulation sweater chosen by the year group, and which must be purchased from the school uniform shop.
  • Shoes – Black. Shoes must have backs or straps around the heel and heels must be of a sensible height. In Trinity term, open toe shoes with heel straps are acceptable but for safety reasons, clog style shoes or flip flops are not allowed. Trainers or fashion shoes are not suitable school-wear.
  • Tights – Any appropriate colour, but no netted or torn tights.
  • Smart coat or jacket – For outdoor wear only. No denim jackets, please. Scarves, if you wish to wear them, are also for outdoor use only and may not be worn around school.

P.E. KIT

  • Any white top.
  • Navy tracksuit bottoms.
  • One pair of trainers for indoor games.

If required for your choice of sport:

  • Navy shorts/skirt
  • Navy tracksuit top
  • Swimming costume
  • Second pair of trainers for outdoor wear

Jewellery. Sixth formers are allowed to wear jewellery to school providing it is unobtrusive. Earrings, if worn, must be in the ear lobes only. No other visible body piercing is permitted.

To help reunite lost property with its owner, all items of clothing should be clearly named.

In all matters relating to a girl’s appearance the Sixth Form Tutor’s decision is final.
